Joseph Hottinger began restoring cars and building hot rods in the 1970's, long before Fat Daddies Hot Rods came to be. In the early 2000's, he built a garage to share his hobby with his two sons, Travis and Kevin. It wasn't long after that their passion became their careers and in 2006, Fat Daddies Hot Rods was born. Joe, Travis, and Kevin spent 18 years working together in the shop, producing high quality, show room ready classics.
In January of 2023, Joe passed away, leaving Fat Daddies to Travis and Kevin. The two brothers plan to continue the legacy their father left behind.
The mind behind the mechanics. Travis' skills range from engine swaps and electrical system repair to metal fabrication and modern component installation. He specializes in everything that makes the car go and does so with great attention to detail.
The one who makes them show room ready. Kevins skills range from metal fabrication and painting to interior installation. He's a perfectionist which makes him the perfect person to focus on what a car looks like before it leaves the shop.
